Reminds me of a Joe Grushecky song..."When the Crows go Crazy". Talks about "walkin' throuh the fields with my daddy" and "you could feel the size of his heart everytime you took his hand".
Anyway, I love it!
This reminds me of your drawings in Seven wonders of Sassafras Springs, very evocative :)
